Merry Christmas

Yea, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I am booking in to Tekong today again.
Booking out on the day before New Year Eve.
Yup.
Can't wait to sing,
"BOOK OUT, BOOK OUT, BOOK OUT DAY! x100000000000000000000000"

Changed Blog Song Again

I changed my blog song again because the previous song, 'Won't be home for Christmas' by blink-182 sounds like I will not be back home.
Sounded a bit inauspicious.
LOL.

So I changed the song to 'My December' by Linkin Park.
It is one of the few slow 'poprock'-like songs from Linkin Park.
And the song sounded quite nice to me.
=)

2nd Bookout

Came back home today from Tekong.
So far the trainings are manageable for me.
And I now don't feel any muscle strain nor tiredness.
This is good.

The excitement of booking out is lesser than what it is during our first book out.
Perhaps I am getting used to NS life which is quite good.

I need to train even harder for my IPPT.
Somehow I feel like going to School of Infantry Specialists (SISPEC) after my BMT.
Oh well, see how my dreaded 2.4km run will fare.

Afternoon

It's about 3.48pm.
I have to book in by 7.15pm.
Yup.
And I've changed my blog song.
The song has a Christmas tune to it but not the Christmas lyrics.
Yea, so enjoy till I am back in mainland Singapore on Christmas.

1st Bookout

Yea, first book out from NS.
Booking back in tomorrow at 7.15pm

Muscle pain.
Training is quite tough but still manageable.
My platoon mates are quite well too.
Food can be quite nice at times.

Can't blog too much cuz NSmen are not allowed to post any thing regarding NS-related information.
Military law will get me if I do that.

Anyways, will be booking out again before Christmas.
Looking forward to it again.

Don't Look

Just cut my hair.
It is so short la.

Hmm, I am thinking of changing the blogskin of my blog.
Please go to this http://www.geocities.com/omarvino/nstheme.JPG and see whether this new blogskin layer is nice or not.

Actually I don't think it's as nice as this blogskin that I am using currently.

Preparations

Die, goggles with degrees must be custom-made.
So my goggles will most probably be those that will make me pah jiao.
Then I think I may have to shave off my hair before entering since the letter states that I must have a decent haircut.
My haircut isn't decent now, so must cut.

I realised my NS enlistment has nothing really too much to be feared about.
20th Dec, Hari Raya Haji.
25th Dec, Christmas.
1st Jan, New Year.
See, so many holidays.
NS life won't seem to be too NS in the first few weeks.
=)

I got a job

The title says it all.
I got an one-off job without even any effort in job searching.
The person found me, and not the other way round.
The job is quite a lame one too.
In terms of money, it's GOOD!
But in terms of moral, it's not really as good.
Perhaps this is what some people say the world as--materialistic.
Oh well, I think I will not do this similar kind of job again.

Comparison

Did any of you guys realise that all of us humans like to compare?
Compare this, compare that.
I wonder is this healthy or not because I also sometimes like to compare.

Something

I don't know what will be lying ahead.

I need planning.
I need a direction.

Queensway

Realised that I should have gone to Queensway Shopping Centre to shop for prom stuffs.
The stuffs there are nice, and best of all, cheaper too.
Anyways, today bought a necklace there.
$8.
Quite ok.
I found a belt in my home so now I am considered fully prepared for prom night.

Oh, I changed my blog song to Letters To You by Finch.
The previous song, Adam's Song by blink-182 sounds too suicidal and depression-causing.
Yup.

Can't wait for tomorrow's prom.
Let's see who looks most like a dork.
Hope it's not me.
LOL, evil.

Overnight

Went for midnight movie with some of my classmates.
Watched 'The Tattooist'.
I wonder what genre is the movie.
There's no horror or whatsoever.
The movie is just like a discovery channel or national geographic programme.
First few times watching horror movies in cinema whereby there is not even one scream.

Ok, then went to Sentosa to slack and talk and to watch sunrise.
Didn't see the sun rise anyways, wrong direction.

Then went for Airforce Officer Seminar.
Did not apply for Airforce Officer as I think that the path is not what I wanted since their scholarship mainly apply for courses that I have absolutely no much interest in.
Furthermore, my 'perfect' eyesight of 800+ degrees render me unavailable to most of the scholarship.
But the food catering was nice.
Actually, it is supposed to be nice since the event was held in Raffles City Convention Centre and food is catered by Raffles City Hotel, 5-star hotel.

Yup.
Oh, regarding those subjects about love which some of us kept discussing these few days.
Somehow, I think that one should not be so depressed after repeated rejections.
It's like, since a person has rejected you for numerous times, the person do not have inerest in you.
Continuing will make the person hate you even more and perhaps you will not be able to even be friends with the person.
By drowning in sorrows, you are just wasting your days alive since you are not productive.
Wasting oxygen, wasting food, wasting water, contributing to global warming, poverty and environmental degradation.
Come on, world population stands at 6+billion, and the number of females outweighs the number of males.
Your choices are damn huge.
Let's say there are 1+ billion females about your age.
Minus away 99% who perhaps are unavailable.
Left about 10 million females.
10 million!
Cool!

Back

Yup, back from chalet.
If you want details, see the blogs of our 0619 people.

Lost about 2kg.
Perhaps I haven't been eating much in chalet.

Anyways, I am feeling as though I am having jet lag.
Now my biological alarm is becoming haywired.
I don't even know when am I tired or sleepy.

Oh, and I got a surprising news too.
Somehow, I managed to be in the top 25% in NYJC and I received the Edusave Merit Bursary letter.
Thus, I can receive $300 bucks!
Yea, means that prom stuffs are free! (If I put it my own way)

Yup.
Tomorrow I will be going for the RSAF officer seminar.
Will be finding out if taking the RSAF scholarship is beneficial for my goals and dreams of being a chemist or other careers related to chemistry.
