Went for the Sports Carnival today. Our class I think most of us came except for the Choir people and some others.
First time did Dragonboat. Quite fun actually. We got second in our race! Yea! And the water is not salty! I 'accidentally' drank some during the race. LOL
Then we went to play frisbee. It's quite fun. Maybe it is fun as it is the only sport that I can at least be more involved in. Yea. But I injured my lips. I got hit by a fast frisbee. Now the inner part of my lips is a little purplish. And it hurts a little. Haha. But it is quite good as I get injured during a sport, in which I do sports only occasionally. Yup. Our class also won the frisbee match against 0615. Hmm, our frisbee training with our class helps huh?
Hmm, now I am a little red aka sunburnt. Hope it will not peel. And hope I remain white. Haha. Tomorrow will be going to study again. So I can show Mrs Lim that I completed my homework! Whahaha. I am a good boy. I do my homework.
Now it is showing Time Machine on Channel 5. Hmm, what if I had a time machine? Can I change the past? Hmm, I think what is best is that we treasure what we have now, and not always complain or be regretful about the past. Yea.

Infinity On High
Today I went to buy Fall Out Boy's new album, Infinity On High.
The songs are ok. The band is an emo-rock band. I just love rock songs (emo, punk, alternative, progressive etc..) but I hate techno and metal. But listening to the emo songs won't make me emo. Yup. I must learn to be positive. Looking at the bright side like what I said in my previous blog.
Hmm, so yesterday I got back my Physics, I got an 'E', which is a pass! It is worse than what I have predicted but I passed Physics! Finally! My econs, I got a 'D'! First time I passed my econs since I first touched econs! Yea, being positive will help in your results! No use fretting and cursing and blaming the results. Yup.
That's all I think, off to listen Infinity On High.. Yea!

What a day
Cool, I got a 'U' for my Maths. 31/100. Sucks but hey, we must look at the bright side rather than frowning or being depressed over it. The bright side is that I got a 10/10 for question 6 of the maths paper (which is differentiation)! I think I am the only one who got full marks for that question! Who's the man? I am the man! =) (I got last in class for maths by the way but still, cheers!)
My Chemistry, I got an 'A' with 77/100. Quite ok bah, just that I lost to Yong Cai by 0.5 marks. Darn! But still ok la, I think I need to build up my skills in answering those 'explain this/why is/how does' etc. kind of questions. This, I think I need to approach the Chemistry teachers to help me. I got 2nd in class by the way.
Yup, then after school went to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien and Gwen. The movie is quite nice bah. Something like a typical TMNT episode, but longer duration.
Hmm, I think that some of our class people are not really happy about their block test results. Cheer up, man! It's only the block test and not the A Levels. Treat this as a wake up call. Move on with life! Always look on the bright side of life! (Sounds familiar eh?) A fail means something is wrong with your study methods, try to look for any problems with your study methods and modify it so that all of us can go up the stage and take pictures with Mr Kwek and excel in life together! Sounds too far but yea, since we can enter JC, we will excel together! Come on!

Solo Shopping Day
Went solo-shopping around Orchard Road today.
It seems more boring today than last time. Last time I can enjoy, now I can't. Hmm...
Went to look for Soundtracks and Books.
I saw many CDs at Borders and HMV but not sure what to buy so I didn't buy.
You know what? Jimmy Neutron's Theme Song was sang by Bowling For Soup! OMG!

Then I went to Kinokuniya to look for Chemistry Books. I saw the textbook that I usually borrowed in school! But it costs $69.95.... So maybe next time.
Yup. That's all. Tomorrow school's starting again. It's a half day some more, all thanks to our seniors who did very well for their A Levels. Hope that our batch can do even better. =)

I want school
Okay, this might sound crazy but I just wanna say,"I WANT SCHOOL!!! I WANNA MUG LIKE A MUGGER!!! MUGGING ALL DAY!!!"
LOL, sorry, I just think that this ultra long weekend is getting a whole lot boring. I would prefer school. I think I am evolving into a mugger. Haha!
Hmm, today actually wanted to go watch TMNT with Zhiyi and Kuei Hsien. But Kuei Hsien sick, then I a bit lazy, so I slack whole day at home. Hmm, tried to do some reflections. (One must never forget to do reflections) So maybe I will become a better person. LOL.
Okay, then yesterday I have some nightmare. I dreamt that I get last few in class for Chemistry. Come to think of it, I should not be too worried about it. Even if I did not so well, it is still only the Block Test. I still have a long way to go. So for now, I will be a SLEEPING DRAGON, when it is the A Levels, I will arise and shine! Soaring into the azure sky, over the realm of the heavens. Hahaha. Sounds too poetic er I mean lame. But anyways, I am a mugger and will continue to be a mugger. Hope school starts soon.

Rotting
Sometimes I hate holidays. Especially after any exams because you have nothing to do!
So now I am rotting at home. Can't go out since I am BROKE!
K-Boxed on Wed, movie and Sentosa yesterday, now my money all used up. Except for my reserve, but I won't use my reserve one. I would use it only under certain circumstances...
Hmm, so now I am hoping that school will start soon.

Sentosa Outing
Today's Sentosa Outing was fun!
It was planned to be in the morning but since most of us will be going there in the afternoon, Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien, Lincoln, Yong Shun and I went to watch Mr Bean's Holiday during the morning.
The movie was quite ok bah. Maybe if I have enough $$ then I can go watch again. LOL!
Then after the movie, we meet with the girls then went to Sentosa. We took the new monorail! Quite high tech I suppose. Haha.
About more than half of the class people came-Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien, Lincoln, Yong Shun, Dexter, Raine, Gwen, Shu Jia, Ann Nee, Tian Cai, Hong Siang and me!
We played volleyball and played with the sand--building some castle with a hole through them and a 'water catchment area'.
And we play and play and play. Today's the first time most of us did not enter the water. Haha!
After Sentosa, the girls each have something on and went off. Then we the boys all went to eat. Had some guys talk (LOL, sounds like something Tian Cai usually writes on his blog). But quite good la the guys talk. It's like we are more open and can talk more, the people,the things, and stuffs like that.
Then on the way home, Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien and I also talked guys gossips. Yup.
I bet those who read my blog would really want to know what we all talked about. But TOO BAD. You can't. LOL!
Anyways, to the Unknown who tagged my blog. You can't do anything to bash my confidence. I already knew that I did not study that much so I will not do so well. So don't assume that I will fail if I study. I don't know whether you are my class people, my school people, or maybe some other unknown people, but if I offended you in the past unknowingly, I say sorry to you. But you should clean your mouth. Aiya, don't care much anymore. Move on with life! =)

Blocks
Block tests are quite a disaster.
Screwed my Maths and Economics.
Did fairly well for Chemistry.
Ok-ok for GP.
Worried about tomorrow's Physics.
Looking at the bright side, if I didn't study for my block tests, I may get a ZERO for my Maths. The paper is quite difficult, but still have some which I can do. So maybe I can get 30+ over 100. Quite pathetic but oh well, I will improve as I am going to turn myself into a mugger!
Yup. So tomorrow is Physics. May I be able to pass my Physics. Yea.
By the way, I just received an email from LINKIN PARK! I am quite a Linkin Park fan you know? After about 2 years, they are finally releasing their new album "Minutes To Midnight" on the 15th of May this year! Yea! Now I will start saving money to buy their album!
Linkin Park rocks! =)

6th Mugger Day
Mugged again yesterday.
Kuei Hsien, Ann Nee and me went to study today.
The subject is Chemistry.
Yea, so we studied till 11+pm! Chemistry just had too much queries.
I did ALL the MCQ in my TYS, and still have about a handful of questions I have problems with.
Especially the lattice energy and enthalpy change of hydration, all related to Group II.
Haha.
Today is considered a rest day. So no studying with them today. But I think I will be burshing up my maths again this afternoon. I just want to get at least am 'A' for my Chemistry, and at least a 'C' for all my other subjects!!!
Quite worried about block test. What if I study so hard but still to no avail?

5th Mugger Day
Mugger Day 5. I realised I have been studying everyday during this March Holidays. Actually, even though I studied this much, I am still quite worried for my block test, what if I still did badly for it? Did I really put in my best for it? Hmm..
Today is a great day. Thanks to everyone who remembered about my birthday. Realised that I tried to make today as low-profile as possible? I wanna see if people still remember my birthday. LOL. At least most of my friends remembered. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL! =)
Today studied Maths at Toa Payoh Library. Only me, Gwen, Ann Nee and Lisin came for this study session. Quite worth to go to Toa Payoh as there is the Xiao4 Yuan2 Superstar Boys' Auditions. Haha. Too bad I did not join. I don't know how to sing much Chinese songs. Too English rocker I presume. Haha.

The Mugger Day 4
Studied Physics today. I am happy to say that I have completed all the MCQs that are in the chapters that will be tested. First time in my entire life that I did so much Physics.
Today there are many people who went to study. Me, Yong Cai, Kuei Hsien, Jo'An, Ann Nee, Shu Jia, Gwen, Lisin, Dexter and Raine. 10 people! It's a record! Haha! Then we studied in some ulu Mcdonalds somewhere near Ang Mo Kio Sec.
Yup. Hmm, it's about 15 mins to March 16. The day which I can start to drink, smoke, get married, watch M18. BUT I won't be drinking too much (perhaps drink occasionally just to train my liquor strength so I won't get drunk so easily), and I will NEVER smoke as it stinks like _____ (Fill in any swear words of your choice). And I won't get married so soon since I am still single. Then I won't be watching M18 movies as there is none that is nice to watch now. Yup. This year is the only year I am not really celebrating for it as BLOCK TEST is coming. So I am looking forward to post-BLOCK TEST period, then I can be WILD! =)

3rd Day of Mugging
Today did some Physics. Now I understand oscillations much better. Did the MCQ, and I got only 12 wrongs out of 46 questions. That's quite an accomplishment since my Physics is like HELL. Hmm, so now I have one goal, which is to get at least a 'C' grade in Physics so I can stuff the mouths of all the Physics teachers with my test paper. Or smack them with the test paper.
Honestly, getting a 'C' or better for Physics will be the best birthday present THIS YEAR.
Next year's birthday present will be all 'A's for my A Levels.
Today's Study Group was bigger. Me, Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien, Ann Nee, Gwen and Lisin came. Yea! So far the study group is quite a success. Yea! Go go go! All the best for our BLOCK TEST!

I was a mugger today!
Today I went studying with Zhiyi, Kuei Hsien and Ann Nee. We studied Maths. I think my Maths improved a bit as I know at least something about Integration. So now maybe I aim for a 'C' grade for my Maths.
Tomorrow will be studying Chemistry. Hmm, must prepare to be bombarded by a lot of questions. Haha. ACTION.

mahjong
I finally learned how to play Mahjong.
Know who taught me? My cousins, all younger than me!
Yesterday my relatives from my father's side come to my house to eat and gather.
So my cousins, Joey-15 years old, Jired(Forget how to spell his name)-14 years old, Joreen-9 years old, Sharmaine-12 years old, they taught me! LOL, so pro lor, they know how to play Dai Dee also.
Then I also become childish, I played Blind Mice, Hide and Seek with them. Haha. Quite a fun bunch. First time enjoyed so much with my cousins. Next year no more chance as I will be in NS! Ahhh...
Today did nothing much that is related to academic stuffs. Wonder if the study group is still on? It's like no news about it. Hmm... Er, oh nevermind..

But all these tests we had and will be having aren't used for our University Admission right? Only the 'A' Levels will be used for University Admission right?
So these tests are just nothing much is it? Or are they a detector that detects our standard for a particular subject so as to prepare us for 'A' Levels?

Yea
Had Chemistry SPA today. I somehow deduced out the reagents-MnO2 and K2CrO4 while I was still doing so I can predict the observations. Hope my observations are correct.
Finally, I felt some motivation to study! So now, my target is to pass all for my upcoming block tests. Yea. Asked Zhiyi to help me print notes so I can try to catch up. Thanks Zhiyi!
Yesterday I was sick so I was not in school. Sore throat, headache, runny nose--Common flu.
Today I saw some of my OG people-Bao Zhu, Jason, Gabriel, Zi En, Benjamin, Aaron, Jasmine. The rest I haven't see. Dunno whether they are in NYJC or not. Haha.
Hope that O2 will be fun for you guys!

Monday purples
Today is fine, PE was dance. We learnt Salsa, Rumba, Samba. And we had our test on Rock-and-Roll.
Tomorrow the J1s will be knowing their posting results!!! Hope that you all will be happy regardless of the schools/institutions that you all got posted to. Yea! OG26, must stay in contact okay? Yea!
Hmm... Gotten a chiding by Mrs Lim for not doing any Maths for a LONG time. Guessed that it will happen. I have been too slack. Till now, after 1 year, I AM still in my post-O level mood. Can't seem to study even though this year is the A Levels year. Somehow my mentality is wrong but I can't help myself to change it. Slacking seems to be in my mind almost all the time.

Tomorrow the J1s will be knowing their posting results!!! Hope that you all will be happy regardless of the schools/institutions that you all got posted to. Yea! OG26, must stay in contact okay? Yea!
Hmm... Gotten a chiding by Mrs Lim for not doing any Maths for a LONG time. Guessed that it will happen. I have been too slack. Till now, after 1 year, I AM still in my post-O level mood. Can't seem to study even though this year is the A Levels year. Somehow my mentality is wrong but I can't help myself to change it. Slacking seems to be in my mind almost all the time.

Lag
It took me about 4 hours plus to complete 2 Chemistry tutorials.
Oh man, my Chemistry speed slowed down. Must train up on it.
And I am lagging like almost lightyears behind school work for other subjects.

competition and chinese
NYJC is in the top 10 of Material Science and Engineering Challenge and we won NJC! =)
BUT only 11 Junior Colleges joined the competition and we got 9th. -.-
Anyways, it's a new experience for us and we have more exposure to more varieties.
And I know more about NTU, the University that I will be going if I am able to.
Now for my Chinese 'A' Levels result. I got a 'B'. Haiz, quite bad, not actually within my expectation. Now my A Levels certificate will be 'tarnished' with a 'B'. But anyways, I can now enter LOCAL university. My mother was like 'ok-ok' with my results, but said that I could do better. Hmmm... I was feeling quite sad actually, but after some reflections, I think that I must move on as I can't change the result unless I retake, but that would be a waste of time as I need to focus more on my other subjects which are struggling like 'fishes on desert floor'. And I hope those whose results are not at their expectation and feeling down to cheer up and move on. Must smile ok? And the smile must be a real smile, not a fake smile. =) =) =) =) =) =) =)
The J3s (Graduated J2s of 2006) got back their 'A' Levels results. They did exceedingly well. 196 people got 3 'A's!!! WOW!!! Congrats to all J3s, all the best for your future endeavours.
Today OG26's BBQ was cancelled as the BBQ pit did not managed to get booked. Hmm, the posting of schools will be on next week, then OG26 people will go to their schools and institutions. But I hope OG26 will remain to stay in contact and hope there will be more outing. Yea! =)
